Open source

OpenLimiter is a local first quota meter for AI coding subscriptions.

It reads your AI subscription quota (how much use you have left) on your own device (locally) and in real time, across desktop, mobile and the terminal, and gives coding agents a bounded budget they can check before they spend it. TypeScript, Apache 2.0, built and run by Lucas.

AI concierge voice agents

Customer service and reservation calls get a natural, multi turn conversation at any hour. Real time voice agents on Vapi, ElevenLabs and LiveKit hold it, with an AI model steering the dialogue (LLM orchestration) and the fallback, escalation and error handling around it.

  • Vapi
  • ElevenLabs
  • LiveKit
  • LLM orchestration

Handles real customer interactions daily with production grade reliability.

Multi LLM routing architecture

One AI provider is never the right answer for cost, speed (latency) and quality at the same time, so dynamic model selection through OpenRouter weighs cost, latency and task complexity in real time to pick the model for each request, with fault tolerant fallbacks that switch providers when one fails.

  • OpenRouter
  • OpenAI
  • Anthropic
  • Gemini
  • DeepSeek

AI model running costs (inference) down 40 percent or more with response quality held.

RAG knowledge systems

General AI models answer domain specific questions confidently and wrongly. Ingestion workflows turn unstructured data into Markdown knowledge bases with vector retrieval, and retrieval pipelines feed that knowledge to the agents, so they answer from those documents.

  • Vector databases

  • Ingestion pipelines

More accurate and reliable answers for domain specific use.

Sites that run real businesses.

Healthcare staffing, jewellery, remediation, carpentry and septic treatments, across Canada.

What I do, as a system.

Software, AI systems, automation and infrastructure, built to work as one.

ClientClientTypeScript · ReactBackendBackendNode.js · PHP

Software

I build the interface and the backend behind it.

Twenty years of web engineering: TypeScript, React and Next.js on the client (the part people see and use), GSAP and Three.js for motion and 3D, Node.js and PHP behind REST APIs, webhooks and databases.

AI systems

I build agents that hold up with real customers.

Voice and chat agents with tool use and MCP, multi LLM routing on OpenRouter that cut AI model running costs (inference) by 40 percent or more at the same quality, and retrieval (RAG) pipelines over Markdown and vector search.

AutomationAutomationn8n · Vapi

Automation

I wire the agents into phone calls and business systems.

Real time voice agents on Vapi, ElevenLabs and LiveKit take customer service and reservation calls, and n8n workflows connect them to APIs, databases and CRMs.

InfrastructureInfrastructureVercel · Cloudflare

Infrastructure

I deploy what I build and keep it online.

As the sole architect and deployment engineer on five production AI systems, I run them on Vercel, Cloudflare, Docker and Linux, with domain names (DNS), email and automated releases (CI and CD).

Work experience

Twenty years of experience, from São Paulo to Vancouver.

From a school website in São Paulo to AI engineering in Vancouver, with nearly a decade at Seasmoke along the way.

Before we talk

Questions recruiters ask.

What roles is Lucas looking for, and where?

Lucas is open to AI Engineer and Senior Full Stack roles, either hybrid in Vancouver or remote. He brings twenty years of web development, ten as a software developer, and three years of applied AI work, with experience designing production systems and the full stack platforms that carry them.

What has Lucas shipped in production with AI?

Lucas has shipped real time voice agents for customer service and reservation calls, dynamic multi LLM routing that picks the AI model for each request by balancing cost, speed (latency) and task complexity, and RAG knowledge systems that turn changing documents into searchable stores for more accurate, reliable answers.

What is his stack?

His stack (the tools he builds with) spans TypeScript, React, Next.js, GSAP, Three.js, Node.js, PHP, REST APIs, webhooks and databases. For AI systems, he works with agents, MCP, evals (tests of AI answer quality), model routing, vector search and RAG, plus n8n, voice platforms, Vercel, Cloudflare, Docker and Linux in production.
